Where TWC students go next

Our graduates are dancing with companies across Europe, performing in musical theatre, studying at Australian universities, and building careers in teaching, production and beyond.

What they share is that they left TWC prepared — technically, academically, and personally — for wherever they were headed. We stay in touch. We keep helping. The relationship does not end on graduation day.

“Even though my time at TWC was short, it truly changed my life. The training and mentoring from both Mr Angus and Ms Lucinda shaped me into the professional dancer I am becoming. I'm looking forward to continuing in Siena. I'll be starting my internship with Balletto di Siena in September.”

Portia

→ A&L Danse → TWC

NOW: Professional Dancer

“Even without any dance experience, A&L enabled and pushed me to make it as a professional dancer. Not just during my time at A&L but also since moving to Europe at 16 years old.”

Matilda Huntrods

→ A&L Danse → TWC

NOW: Sydney Conservatory of Music

“I can say with my whole heart that my time at TWC shaped me into the dancer I am today. The strong 'yes and' mindset they instilled in me will assist me for the rest of my career, and in everything I do.”

Sarah Tomlinson

→ A&L Danse → TWC → Diploma in Dance → ACPE, Sydney

NOW: Dance Choreographer and High School Teacher, Sydney, Australia

“From the day I started at The Whiteley College, the scope of potential dance training opened up. The idea of being a professional dancer wasn't some far-off dream, it could actually be attainable. The discipline I developed as a dancer and the strength of character it gave me helped me get through five years of university. I still call Lucinda when I have choreography blanks for ideas.”

Russell Fenton

→ A&L Danse → TWC → Bachelor of Education, University of Sydney

NOW: Educator, Sydney, Australia

"I was able to pursue my passions in the performing arts and in subjects like English and history at The Whiteley College. It was an experience that shaped both my academic and creative development — and I'm grateful for the opportunity to now share those passions as an educator myself."

Jamie Gordon

→ A&L Danse → TWC → Dance Area—Geneve

NOW: Expanded Contemporary Dance—Amsterdam

Emma Fisher

→ A&L Danse → TWC → Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science → Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology

NOW: Accredited Exercise Physiologist,
Orange, NSW, Australia

“My time at TWC opened so many doors — ones that I dreamed of and ones I didn't expect but appreciate none the less. I've taken my love of movement and the body to now understand the physiology and help people enjoy movement. I'll forever appreciate the community that Ms Lucinda and Mr Angus have created.”

Brooke Charpentier

→ A&L Danse → Melbourne Ballet

NOW: Dance School & Fitness Studio Founder

A&L was one of the most special and best chapters of my life. It gave me technical training and performance opportunities, but also confidence, discipline, creativity and a deep love for the performing arts. Mrs Lucinda and Mr Angus's encouragement and belief in me helped shape the person I am today.
